Lyabi-Hauz ensemble is one of the most popular places of rest in Bukhara. Lyabi-Hauz is not only a scenic pond surrounded by centuries old plane trees, but also an honored architectural monument of XVI-th – XVII-th centuries. Lyabi-Hauz ensemble was created by the order of Nadira Divan-begi’s vizier. Literally Lyabi-Hauz is translated as “coast of the lake”.
